Protection against sexual abuse and exploitation of children – Jobiro
Effective Date: 11.10. 20251. Our Commitment and Zero ToleranceJobiro applies a zero tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). We are committed to protecting children from any form of sexual abuse, exploitation, or endangerment through our application and services.
2. DefinitionFor the purposes of this policy, the following definitions apply:-Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE): Any content, behavior, or conduct that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes, but is not limited to:
-Grooming: Grooming a child for sexual exploitation.
-Sextortion: Extorting or coercing a child to share sexually explicit material
-Trafficking of children for sexual purposes
-Material depicting child sexual abuse: Any visual depiction, including photographs, videos, or computer-generated images, involving sexually explicit conduct of a minor. CSAM is illegal and violates our Terms of Service.
3. Rules for User Content and BehaviorThe following activities and content are strictly prohibited in our application:-Any form of CSAM or content that depicts, promotes, or glorifies CSAE.
-Any user behavior intended for grooming, harassment, or exploitation of children.
-Communication that encourages or pressures children to share sexually explicit content (sexting).
-Utilization of application functionalities that could be misused to harm, exploit, or endanger children.
4. Protection and Prevention MeasuresWe have implemented the following measures to prevent and address CSAE/CSAM risks:-Content Moderation and Filtering: We use a combination of automated and human tools to actively detect and remove CSAM and CSAE content.
-User Education: We regularly inform our users about safety policies and the risks of online interactions.
-Age restrictions and Protection of younger users:
-Basic Limit: The application is primarily intended for users aged thirteen (13) and older. This age serves as the minimum global threshold (COPPA). We note that the age required for a child to provide valid consent for digital services varies within the European Union (EU) from thirteen (13) to sixteen (16) years, depending on the local jurisdiction.
-Use by Minors Under the Age of Digital Consent: Minors who have not reached the minimum age required to provide valid consent for digital services in their local jurisdiction (which ranges from 13 to 16 years in the EU) are strictly prohibited from registering independently. They may only use the application via a restricted child profile created by their parent or legal guardian. The use of this profile is contingent upon the verifiable parental consent obtained with the aid of the verification mechanism described below.
Verification Mechanism: The legal guardian must create and manage the child's account from their own user account. Prior to activation, a verification step is required in the form of clicking a confirmation link sent to the legal guardian's email, thereby the legal guardian declares that they are over 18 years old and assumes full responsibility for the child's use of the account.
-Enforcement of Rules: Accounts of minor users for whom verifiable consent has not been obtained will be terminated immediately.
-Limitation of Data Collection: For restricted child profiles (used by minors who have not reached the age of digital consent), we strictly limit data collection to only the minimal data necessary for service operation and parental supervision, specifically: username, password, and task completion records.
Strict Prohibitions: We actively and technically block the input and collection of sensitive and identifiable data:
-No Real-Name Data: Minors are prohibited from using their real first or last name in the account settings.
-No User Generated Content (UGC): The profiles are technically blocked from uploading or posting any form of UGC, including text, comments, images, or videos.
-No Sensitive Data: Technical blocks are in place to prevent the sharing of geolocation, addresses, phone numbers, and other sensitive personal data.
5. In-App Reporting and Feedback MechanismUsers must have the ability to easily report inappropriate content or behavior.-In-App Reporting: We have implemented a mechanism for the quick and discreet reporting of suspicious content or behavior, which is accessible through:
-The "Report" button on the task detail tab for reporting inappropriate content related to that task.
-The "Report" button on the user's profile, which is accessible, for example, through the user search module in the ownership group management.
-Or through the button "Report Inappropriate Content" inside the tab "Management and Requests", which is accessible from the tab "Settings".
-Procedure for Processing Reports: All reports regarding CSAE/CSAM are prioritized for investigation by a specially trained team.
6. Policy Enforcement and Cooperation with AuthoritiesImmediate Actions: In the event of a detected violation of this policy, particularly in connection with CSAE/CSAM, we will immediately perform the following:-Immediate Removal of harmful content.
-Immediate suspension or permanent termination of accounts involved in CSAE/CSAM activities.
Reporting to Authorities: We immediately report confirmed CSAM content to relevant law enforcement agencies and organizations, such as the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional authority.
